Ormskirk covers the L39 postcode and sits about 13 miles from our Huyton depot, generally a 25 to 30 minute drive. Ormskirk isn't part of Liverpool or Knowsley. It's a market town and the administrative centre of West Lancashire Borough Council, and it's part of our regular removals area.

As a proper market town, Ormskirk still holds markets twice a week, on Thursdays and Saturdays, right in the town centre. It's also home to Edge Hill University, which brings a steady flow of student moves through the town each year, and the Parish Church of St Peter and St Paul is one of only three parish churches in England built with both a tower and a separate spire.
Ormskirk's town centre was laid out as a planned borough back in the 13th century, so its older streets are tighter and more historic than the newer residential estates that have grown up around them, so we plan our vehicle access differently depending on which part of town you're in.
