Every move is different. Access, stairs, hallways and how much there is to move all affect how long the job takes, so we price it in one of two ways.
Send us photos or a video tour on WhatsApp, or arrange a face-to-face survey. Once we can see what’s involved, we can give you a fixed price for the whole move.
No photos or survey? We work on an hourly basis instead, the simplest way to price a job when we can’t see the details. The clock starts when we arrive and stops when the job is done.

No, we don’t disconnect or reconnect appliances. Please have them disconnected by a qualified person before moving day.
Our team isn’t qualified to remove window glazing. It will need to be removed before the removal day, either by you or, at an additional cost, by a qualified tradesperson we can arrange. This normally costs between £70 and £120.
Our packing service is £80 per hour for 2 packers, with a 2-hour minimum (£160), then £40 for each additional 30 minutes. Materials are charged separately where used. See our packing service page.
Of course. Packing yourself saves time and money, and we can provide up to 20 reclaimed moving boxes free of charge.
You are responsible for any boxes you have packed yourself.
Don’t make boxes too heavy: if you find a box difficult to lift, others will too. Wrap delicate items in your own towels, clothes or bedding. It protects them, saves space and reduces packing costs.
Ideally at least four weeks before your move. Many people leave it too late and end up without a removal company, as schedules fill up quickly, particularly during summer and school holidays.
Payment is due on the day once the job is completed. We accept cash or bank transfer.
Yes, we can help empty your loft. For safety, the loft floor must be properly boarded, with adequate lighting and a suitable ladder for access. If it isn’t, our team may not be able to help.
Yes. Most furniture can be dismantled and reassembled where its construction allows it, and it’s included in your removal with no separate fee. Please mention any items when you request a quote. More about dismantling.
We stick to the agreed time, usually with a one-hour window. For example, if your removal is booked for 12:00, you can expect us between 12:00 and 13:00.
Please make sure there’s a clear parking space for our Luton van. It’s around 4 m (13 ft) long, 2.2 m (7.2 ft) wide and 2.2 m (7.2 ft) high, so we usually need the space of 1–2 cars to park and load safely.
