This evening we finished a Horizon Heights student move: a one-man man and van job taking a student from Cambridge Court halls in L7 to Horizon Heights on Skelhorne Street, right by Lime Street in Liverpool city centre. Both buildings are Unite Students halls, so it was a hall-to-hall move across town.
Like every job booked through our student removals service, this one came with 20% off, something you won’t find with most removal firms in Liverpool.
Loading Up at Cambridge Court
Cambridge Court is a low-rise block of student flats, so the job started with carrying everything down to the van and loading it via the tail lift. Student moves are mostly boxes, bags, bedding and small appliances, which a single mover with the right trolleys can handle quickly and safely.
Horizon Heights Student Move Into the City Centre
Horizon Heights is a much taller building in the heart of the city, and on the night there was scaffolding along the front. City centre halls usually mean tight parking, lifts and long corridors, so we kept the van close, unloaded in one go and took everything up to the new block.
The whole move took about two hours from arrival to finish.
What It Cost With 20% Off
With the student discount applied, this move came to just £80. That is a lot less hassle than hiring a van and doing it yourself.
If you are moving between halls, or into a shared house for second year, a one-man man and van in Liverpool is usually all you need. We work across the city, including removals in Liverpool city centre.
