Today we did a student move in Kensington, Liverpool: a one-man man and van job taking a student from a house in Kensington over to the True Student halls on Erskine Street, both in L6. A short hop across the area, but still a full van’s worth of student life to shift.

Moving into halls usually means lots of smaller bits rather than big furniture: boxes, bags, bedding, a suitcase or two and the odd appliance. This load was exactly that, including a mini fridge and a tall item we wrapped in a removal blanket and strapped to the side of the van so it could not tip or scuff on the way.
Big student blocks come with their own challenges too, like booked loading slots, long corridors and busy lifts. Our sack trucks and trolleys make short work of getting everything from the van to the right block and floor.
