Bootle covers the L20 and L30 postcodes in the Metropolitan Borough of Sefton and sits around 10–11 miles from our Huyton base, roughly a 25–30 minute drive via the M57, A5036 and A580. It's a slightly longer trip than some of the areas we cover, but one our crews make regularly.

The town has a strong civic and maritime identity, from the Victorian Bootle Town Hall dating to the late 19th century to the New Strand Shopping Centre, the area's main retail hub. Down at the waterfront, Seaforth Container Port and the Liverpool2 deep-sea container terminal, opened in 2016, reflect Bootle's long-standing docks heritage.
Housing across Bootle is a mix of Victorian terraces, many originally built for dockworkers, alongside more modern residential and office development.
