Knotty Ash is famous well beyond Liverpool as the home of comedian Sir Ken Dodd, who referenced the area constantly in his act and invented the fictional “Diddyland” as its comic counterpart. The area's actual name comes from a knotty ash tree that once stood here, and a small ash has since been replanted near the original site to mark it.
Away from that local fame, Knotty Ash is a straightforward, well-established residential suburb, and that's what makes moves here easy to plan. Standard house and street layouts mean we can quote quickly and get on with the job with minimal surprises on the day.
